Baby Koning 3D Ultra Sound!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to have a 3-4D ultra sound done. It was one of the coolest experiences in this pregnancy thus far. It was amazing and surreal to see what my baby looks like instead of trying to decipher what I was looking at during the 2D US. I brought my mom and Wade's mom with me for the ride. I think they were able to enjoy it as much as me.
Looking at the pictures I decided that the baby looked mostly like me :). However, during lunch Ruth brought out newborn pictures of Wade. I think that baby has his nose!! But, my rounder face and cheeks. Unfortunately the baby decided to stay in the same position for the whole hour (I tried my best to get him/her to move. I even did a headstand and danced around)! So the only pictures we got are of the profile.


Right now it is in the breech position and seems pretty comfortable. She/he was asleep the whole time and enjoyed rubbing it's eyes and face. Hopefully it decides to move by the time it is ready to be born. Baby Koning also made it impossible for us to see any indicator of gender. Accident or not, there was no way we could have seen because it was blocking ALL views. A very stubborn child (Gets that after Wade too)!

Mutating before your eyes...

When one is pregnant they find that no matter how you much you think you are prepared for your belly to get better, your not. Since about 20 weeks it has been a steady/rapid growth of my stomach and losing my lovely figure :). Here are a couple pics to document my progress (one at 15 weeks, one at 25 weeks. Can you guess which one is which?).

So, I have decided to join the tech world and start a blog of our family and events. I also thought it would be a good way to start documenting the beginning of the family and how we are starting to grow.

Here is a pic of Baby Koning at 20 weeks. We have decided to not find out the gender, so we are waiting patently for Feb 8 (or sooner, not too much later) to find out. We are taking bets now.
